Barry Evans is targeting podium finishes, at the 2017 Manx Grand Prix, as he embarks upon his third two week campaign around the most magical and famous road racing circuit in the world, the Mountain Course.
Joining Allan Brodie at PRF Racing, he holds the number 2 plate for the Junior and Senior races, whilst the Super Twins race sees him carry the 15 plate on his own teams ER6 Kawasaki.

Set to pilot this weekend at Oliver’s Mount, this bike alongside his ZX6R Kawasaki mount, Barry is quietly confident of contending for at minimum top six finishes within the 650 and 600 classes.
Back in April at the mount, the season opening Spring Cup National Road Races would see him impress within the Super Twins class, wrapping up fourth and fifth place finishes.
Established amongst Wales leading pure road racers, alongside the Barry Sheene Road Race Festival, the remainder of his 2017 racing campaign focused around the Manx Grand Prix, is also set to see him take in the prestigious Gold Cup meeting at Scarborough.
Plus quite possibly, a return to Irish roads competition, at the newly formed East Coast Racing Festival.
The 2015 Newcomers A Manx GP runner up, improving meeting on meeting on the roads, is touted by many, me included as a potential front runner around the Mountain Course in August, with competition getting underway in just over a months time.
