By Tuesday afternoon Armoy Road Races sponsorship news, Ballymoney located Causeway Geotech are back on-board again, retaining Open race-contest title sponsorship reigns.
Reaction from Causeway Geotech, about today’s ‘Race of Legends’ update, was provided by company Director Paul Dunlop.
“Our company has been situated in Ballymoney since 2012 so we are only too aware of the prowess that road racing holds in this vicinity and the impact that the event has on the local business economy.
We’re delighted to be involved with Armoy Road Races for the second consecutive year and are looking forward to a great weekend of road racing.”
AMRRC (Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club) Chairman, William Munnis, additionally stated:
“We’re delighted to welcome Paul and the team at Causeway Geotech back onboard as sponsors for Armoy 2024.
It’s something we regularly say, but we are in indebted to the generosity of our sponsors because without them, we wouldn’t be able to put on such a successful event year after year.”
Going onto speak about the prospective Open race field, set to feature Davey Todd, Jamie Coward, Michael Browne, Derek Sheils, Dominic Herbertson, Sam West to name but a few, he said:
“The Open Race often attracts top riders and the fastest bikes, and this year is no different. Cork rider, Mike Browne is racing on the RSV4, a high-performance narrow V 4-cylinder, that is the most powerful and revolutionary engine ever built by Aprilia.
Halifax racer, Jamie Coward returns this year and he’s added the KTS Racing, powered by Steadplan Group Honda CBR, to his schedule of rides for Armoy and Davey Todd will be back onboard his senior TT winning Milwaukee BMW by TAS Racing bike.”
