Continuing the behind-the-scenes momentum behind the 2024 Armoy ‘Race of Legends’ (26th-27th July), an array of sponsors for specific races are officially on-board.
The intertwined 125/Moto 3, Supersport 300, Lightweight Supersport race contests has attracted sponsorship from Raymond Hodges/TT Racing, Dave Suddes BDS Motorcycles company, the Diamond Bar and Kircubbin based Mermaid Club.
Furthermore today, it’s been divulged that Ian Hickinson, James McKillop are jointly title supporting the Junior Support contest.
Speaking about the latest feel good Armoy news, AMRRC Chairman William Munnis stated:
“Armoy has an incredibly rich history of road racing and is well known across the world for hosting this exhilarating event each summer, which is all due to the support we receive from every one of our sponsors.
On behalf of the Club, I would like to say a huge thank you to Raymond Hodges and TT Racing, BDS Motorcycles, The Diamond Bar, the Mermaid Club, Ian Hickinson and James McKillop – who all clearly love the sport as much as we do – for their continued support.
The Junior Support and races like the Moto3, Supersport and Lightweight classes are entry level races that enable competitors to learn and experience the thrill of road racing.
Having great sponsors onboard to support these classes certainly bodes well for the future of road racing.
As a Club, we are currently busy putting the preparations together and we’re expecting this year’s event to be bigger and better than ever, both in terms of the riders competing and the fans who are travelling from all corners of the globe.”
