Anstey/Padgetts Combination Set For Eighth Season Together

The immensely successful combination of legendary New Zealander Bruce Anstey and Padgetts Racing, is set to remain in place for next season, which will mark their eighth international roads campaign together.

Since first linking up with the Batley based team in 2011, ‘Flying Kiwi’ Anstey has gone onto add multiple TT, Ulster GP and Classic TT wins to his golden roads CV.

At a glance just some of the main highlights aboard the rainbow liveried Padgetts machines in recent times, have included 2015 RST Superbike TT success, winning back to back Lightweight Classic TT’s and most recently reclaiming the feature Superbike crown at the MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix.

The genial racers tally of thus far 34 international road race victories, places him firmly amongst the greatest road racers of the last twenty to thirty years.

Looking towards next season, the 12 times TT winner is anticipated to pilot again Honda’s in Supersport, Superstock and Superbike trim at the North West 200, TT and Ulster GP.

Nearing his 50th birthday, he’s not getting any slower at the premier roads meetings, he’s getting quicker!

We shouldn’t be surprised though, given the huge amount of natural talent that he possesses when in relation to competition on roads circuits.

It’s fair to say one main goal remains for the Padgetts mainstay, a Senior TT victory.

Will he at last clinch the blue riband TT title in 2018? time will tell but one things for sure he will be one of the main contenders aboard quite possibly again the exotic RC213V-S Honda.
