Aberdare Park: Top 30 Fastest Racers

Whilst Davey Todd powered to various Lightweight, Supersport, Allcomers victories, the current IRRC Superbike Champion perhaps surprisingly did not finish the racer with the best lap speed/lap time from the latest Aberdare Park Road Races.

This honour went to Wilson Craig Racing team mate, fellow Aberdare Park newcomer Chris Burns who during the Welsh Open Final lapped at 40.051 seconds, equating in miles per hour terms to 80.897 mph.

The aforementioned Todd’s best lap speed stood at 80.750 mph whilst the only other rider to register an 80 mph lap, was 2012 Senior Manx GP winner John Simpson (80.463).

In total 11 racers set lap speeds exceeding 76 mph whilst all but two of the thirty quickest racers overall, recorded lap speeds of 71 mph plus.
