Aberdare Park 2026: Dixon Clinches Third Welsh Open Title

Ensuring his place amongst the all-time great Aberdare Park competitors, Ryan Dixon clinched this afternoon a third Welsh Open title in five years.

The second Welsh Open encounter, held over twelve laps, would see Dixon (Trickbits Racing – Triumph) attaining victory laurels by a shade under 1.2 seconds (1.170 to be exact).

Super Twins Race Three winner Joey Thompson (TH Racing – Honda), bagging second place, swooped quickest lap time spoils (top lap time – 38.950).

Three seconds plus in arrears to 2023 Bob Smith Spring Cup winner Thompson, was Joey Lambden, whose stock within roads scene circles continues to increase.

Dean McMaster (TH Racing – Honda), Classic Superbike races winner x3 Jay Bellers Smith (RWEC Ltd Racing – Kawasaki), William Holland garnered respective fourth, fifth, sixth place finishes.
