IRRC Horice: Cerveny Bests Najman, Strengthens Championship Lead

Following another Horice Supersport thriller, Marek Cerveny strengthened his objective to attain an unprecedented seventh IRRC title.

Petr Najman held the Supersport Race Two P1 initiative for the opening six laps before Cerveny made his move to the front on lap seven.

Once out front, the IRRC wins record-holder would not relinquish first place, finishing the ten-lap encounter held in sun kissed conditions, 0.218 clear of Najman.

Cerveny now holds a seventeen-point Championship lead, going into next month’s season finale at Frohburger Dreieck.

Matej Vit kept touch throughout with Cerveny, Najman before dropping back to finish a safe third.

Mauro Poncini, set to represent Scott Racing at this year’s Manx Grand Prix was fourth with Performance Racing Achterhoek team-mate Ilja Caljouw, Wolfgang ‘Wolfi’ Schuster swooping concluding first six leader-board positions.
