Joining Gary Johnson on Imatranajo 2026 wins x4, Eemeli Lahti secured this afternoon, the premier ‘King of Imatra’ title.
Passing Niko Lehtiranta for race leadership on lap three, Lahti (Velt Motocenter Aprilia Estonia Team), controlled proceedings from here, finishing at the contest’s conclusion, 4.610 in front of RVS Motorsport backed Lehtiranta.
Third place finisher Nico Muller (Muller Motorsport – BMW), 2.228 behind Lehtiranta, banked top lap time honours, circulating the Jarno Saarinen Circuit Imatra, inside 1 minute 57.9 seconds (1.57.882).
Ville Valtonen (Team Sensetec/RRC – Ducati) took fourth, Sweden’s top IRRC racer of recent times Markus Karlsson (Karlsson Motorsport – BMW), poised to make his Manx Grand Prix debut in August, placed fifth.
Pekka Pouhakka (PP92/RRC – Yamaha) bagged sixth, Estonian rider Janus Saarmaa (SK Suzuki Team Estonia), Emil Krchnavy (KRS-Racing – Kawasaki) unlocked seventh, eighth position results.
Just two more competitors reached the full eight-lap distance of the re-started feature race, held in damp, mixed conditions, Lasse Karki (Team Vuokrakontti – BMW) and Heikki Mannila (DRM ProMoto/RRC – Kawasaki).
Podium finishing contender Kenny Koskinen retired on lap four whilst race non-starters included ESR front-runners Fedrik Matthys, Laurent Hoffmann and Classic Superbike/Retro Superbike class tour-de-force, Anssi Koski.
