Next to take part in Road Racing News, revamped Manx GP Top 6 series is ARA (Andreas Racing Association) Supersport Champion, Kyle Casement.
Swiftest IOM/UK MGP newcomer of 2026 (117.601 – top lap speed), his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions, are as follows:
Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?
“For me, it was like seeing home from a completely different angle. Some-parts just felt like my daily commute, then other parts I was thinking, holy-s**t, this is the maddest thing ever!”
Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?
“To be honest, as weird as it sounds being local, I never really watched much of the MGP growing up. But if there was one bike, I was up to watch off the line this year, it was Dunlop (Michael) on the Padgetts RS250.”
Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?
“That first lap out on your own, is pretty-damn special. It almost does not feel real!
I am pretty-sure I spent the whole lap with a grin from ear to ear!”
Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?
“In all honesty, the one I have really got to take my hat off to is Tommy Clucas! What he did all those years ago was unbelievable. Once you’ve actually rode the course yourself, you realise just how impressive it was to be doing that twenty-two years ago!”
Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?
“That’s not fair, only one word! Mental!”
Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?
“Its’ got to be an RS250 for me. There is just something about two-strokes and Castrol R around the TT course. I would absolutely love to have a gone on-one.”
