2025 King of The Mount Aran Sadler Chats To Road Racing News

King of The Mount, Supersport and Classic Superbike Champion, Barry Sheene Classic Feature race victor, County Durham’s Aran Sadler (Aran Sadler Racing Kawasaki/C.A.H RACEREPS & Vehicle Body Repairs Suzuki equipped), permanently excelled this year at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough.

Recently, Road Racing News managed to gain his perspectives on a mix of subjects.

The conversation conducted, reads as follows:

Road Racing News:

You have enjoyed a superb season at Oliver’s Mount, is there one race in-particular that stands out from this year’s events?

Aran Sadler:

“If I had to pick one it would have to be the Barry Sheene Classic feature race as it was my first ever feature race win.

As weekends go though, they don’t get much better than the Cock of the North. Not only did I get my first race win, but I also got five across the weekend!”

Road Racing News:

Is it fair to say you surpassed your 2025 Scarborough racing goals?

Aran Sadler:

“Massively. I never expected to win races, never mind championships! And winning three in one season is mind blowing.

Even going into the last meeting, the Gold Cup, I only really expected to win the classic championship considering the stiff competition in the Supersport class.”

Road Racing News:

You tackled the Southern 100 for the second time this year, does your riding skillset have to alter when participating at Billown in comparison to Scarborough?

Aran Sadler:

“Yes, I think I am much more focused at the Southern as the speed approaching corners is much faster than Scarborough, that’s not to say Scarbrough is easy though!”

Road Racing News:

Regarding next season, more roads scene outings potentially being-lined-up?

Aran Sadler:

“Definitely, I do very little circuit racing since falling in love with Oliver’s Mount.

I am looking to do more in Ireland and hopefully a couple of trips to the Isle of Man, depending on finances!”

Road Racing News:

Finally, if this season could be-summed up by one phrase, what would it be?

Aran Sadler:

“Unbelievable.”
