Manfeild – Circuit Chris Amon (Named in honour of Le Mans 24 Hours winner/24 Hours of Daytona winner/Tasman Series winner/former Scuderia Ferrari driver) hosted this weekend’s rounds of the 2025 Suzuki International Series.
Eighth place finisher in last month’s Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, Mitch Rees was again in great form, picking up F1 Superbike victories times two.
The second 1000cc contest (twelve lap distance) proved a Rees family battle royale with Mitch’s esteemed dad, street racing legend Tony (Race 1 winner) finishing only 0.212 in arrears.
Rogan Chandler, Luca Durning, Alastair Hoogenboezem registered podium finishes whilst No.1 x3 from F2 Supersport race bursts, outpacing pilots such as Ashton Hughes, Jesse Stroud (F3 Race Three winner) and Sloan ‘Chopper’ Frost was Cameron Leslie.
Richie Dibben swept all Super Motard races, Tyler King (F3 Race Two winner), Paul Pavletich, Derrick Kattenberg, Scott Findlay, Eddie Kattenberg took yesteryear classic race wins.
UK competitors wise, Dave Hewson, Eric Wilson hauled a combined eight top ten finishes with ex TT racer Hewson in particular, to the fore in Formula Sport Senior contests, collecting respective finishes of sixth, fourth, fifth.
