2025 Manx GP/Classic TT: News From The Paddock 5

* With adverse weather forecast, organisers have altered today’s competition itinerary.

The new schedule sees the Lightweight Classic TT (three laps) incorporated into the timetable, with a start time of 5:30 PM.

This morning sees the Junior (11:15 AM start time – three laps), Senior (2:15 PM – four laps) take place.

Prior, in between the MGP races, one-lap Lightweight/Historic Senior, F1/Historic Junior Classic TT qualifying bursts commence. *

* Yesterday at Jurby Day, the Mountain Course racing Travelling Marshals team, celebrated its ninetieth Anniversary.

* The ‘Tommy Club’ now has thirty-four members post Saturday’s Supersport race.

* Billy ‘Skippy’ McConnell hinted to Dean Harrison on his You Tube channel, that he will be making his TT Races debut in 2026.

* Youngest competitor in impending Junior, Senior races is 19 years old Coleraine rider Lee Hara.

* This year’s MGP, marks the fiftieth Anniversary of the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club.

* To date during qualifying tenures, John McGuinness MBE has completed only one lap on his Historic Junior Race vault, the Steadplan Racing Honda.

* USA based racer Stuart Clotworthy is a non-starter for the Junior MGP, Lightweight Classic TT races.
