300 Curves of Gustav Havel: Thirty Fastest Racers

Due to compete for the Penz 13 BMW squad at this year’s TT Races, feature Superbike race winner David Datzer also had the distinction last Saturday at Horice of been the fastest overall racer.

On route to Superbike victory spoils, Datzer registered a best lap time of 2 minutes 15.688 seconds, in the process becoming the only rider to lap sub 2 minutes 16 seconds.

Closest to Datzer’s turn of speed was SBK race runner-up Kamil Holan (2.16.455).

Just 0.02 shy of Holan’s quickest time was Finland’s top road racer Erno Kostamo (2.16.457).

Respective fourth, fifth fastest competitors were Supersport pace setters Petr Najman (2.18.062) and Marek Cerveny (2.18.084).

Laurent Hoffmann (2.18.300), Patrick Hoff (2.18.587) also dipped under 2 minutes 19 seconds around the iconic Horice course.

A further nine racers lapped sub 2 minutes 20 seconds. They are as follows (PB lap time located near racers name):

Johannes Schwimmbeck (2.19.163), multiple IRRC Supersport Champion Joey Den Besten (2.19.199), David Hanzalik (2.19.346), fastest Horice newcomer Karel Pesek (2.19.517).

IRRC legend Didier Grams (2.19.622), Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Virgil-Amber Bloemhard (2.19.628).

Marcel Elsner (2.19.644), Stare Mesto Superbike winner Tomas Toth (2.19.737) and fans favourite Michal ‘Indi’ Dokoupil (2.19.889).

Overall, the top thirty speediest exponents of the latest 300 Curves of Gustav Havel meeting, all lapped sub 2 minutes 25 seconds.

17th-30th quickest competitors overall read as follows (PB lap times located near racers name):

Team Schleizer Dreieck’s Thomas Walther (2.20.365), Max Gaube (2.21.116), Karel Brandtner (2.21.122), Petr Plichta (2.21.280).

Nico Muller (2.22.074), IRRC Supersport Championship leader Jorn Hamberg (2.22.409), Tomas Borovka (2.22.474), Jiri Petrla (2.23.127).

Martin Hulin (2.23.343), Florian Astner (2.23.546), Nadieh Schoots (2.23.877), Hanno Brandenburger (2.24.077), Slovakia’s sole TT exponent Miroslav Sloboda (2.24.237), Sebastian Frotscher (2.24.241).
