Mixing sustained accomplished pace, with style, guile and top quality race craft, Wepol Road Racing’s Matthieu Lagrive reigned supreme in today’s opening Supersport encounter of the 2019 300 Curves of Gustav Havel races.
Keeping at bay the persistent challenge of Dafit Moto Racing’s Kamil Holan, IRRC Supersport series leader Lagrive emerged victorious by just over 1.7 seconds.

Over 19 seconds behind the leading trio of Lagrive and Holan, Petr Wiesenberg completed the rostrum finishers, finishing in front of the likes of respected Supersport exponents, fourth, fifth place finishers Jochen Rotter, Michal Vecko.
David Hanzalik placed sixth, as TT 2019 bound Miroslav Sloboda also quietly impressed around the fast, flowing, unrelenting Horice course, in claiming a very respectable seventh place finish.
Wrapping up the first ten finishers were Tomas Toth, former Czech roads 250 champion Wolfgang Schuster and Daniel Schmidt.
Others outside the top ten, to claim highly creditable finishes included Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Ilja Caljouw 11th, Poland’s Krystian Paluch 16th, Ivo Ladde 22nd and Horice newcomer Richard Vuillermet 23rd.
