By Improving course conditions throughout yesterday’s record-breaking Cookstown competition, ensured a weighty amount of quality lap times.
All but one of the ten fastest riders, set their best lap-times from the seven-lap Grand Final.
Fastest outright as widely previously showcased was Michael Dunlop, thanks to surpassing his own existing lap record, lapping at 1 minute 22.377 seconds.
Feature race runner-up to Dunlop, Michael Sweeney was the only other rider lapping under the 1.25, 1.24 seconds barrier.
Third to sixth swiftest respectively were new Super Twins lap record holder, fastest non-BMW equipped competitor Derek McGee (1.25.922), Daracore Racing’s Kevin Keyes (1.26.170), Brian McCormack (1.26.671), James Chawke (1.27.922).
Seventh to tenth fastest were Neil Kernohan (1.28.17), Lightweight Supersport & Classic Superbike race winner Darryl Tweed (1.28.668), Darryl Anderson (1.29.103) and Julian Trummer (1.29.618).
