Two, three wheel racing returned over the weekend to the Isle of Man, as the Jurby Airfield circuit in clockwise configuration opened Manx race action for 2021.
Whilst the past weekend, should have meant us toasting the beginning of TT Races practice week, spirits amongst teams, competitors were good and the racing was of a reputable calibre.
First and foremost we’ve got to cover Sidecar TT legends Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle, who were racing their 890 KTM twin powered outfit.
The outfit built with one eye on TT 2022, were new regulations will allow competitors to race 900cc steeds proved peerless across Saturday, Sunday with Molyneux/Sayle taking commanding victories.
7.5 seconds clear in the respective races ahead of Craig Melvin/Stuart Christian, the signs are already positive for 17 times TT winner Molyneux’s latest Mountain Course racing project.
Solo’s wise, rising Manx roads talents lighting up Jurby included double Pre-Injection 600 Solos winner Dean Osborne and Super Twins front runner Marc Colvin.
Not forgetting Dave Moffitt, TT Rider Liaison Officer John Barton, Brendan Fargher and prospective MGP newcomer in the near future Paul Cassidy.
