2020 North West 200 Dates Confirmed

Next year’s North West 200 will take centre stage from the 10th-16th of May, as the Portstewart based meeting once again opens the International Road Racing schedule.

Set to be the first International roads event of the 2020’s, the iconic meet’s organising team for next year will once again include Mervyn Whyte MBE, who has been asked by the Coleraine and District Motor Club, to retain the role of Event Director.

Individuals like Whyte MBE have formed a crucial role in the modern era success of the North West 200, which is widely regarded as Northern Ireland’s biggest sporting event.

Racers to have already announced their intention to compete next year on the coast roads include new Team ILR signing Joe Loughlin, who’s also set to sample for the first time in 2020 the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.

Honda, Kawasaki, BMW are all anticipated to have official presences plus don’t be surprised to see a high profile newcomer or two to NW200 competition.
