The TAS Racing ran Milwaukee BMW team, 16 times TT winner Ian Hutchinson are officially confirmed, notable non-starters for TT 2023.
This situation has arisen following recent, much publicised health issues afflicting Bingley’s Hutchinson, who’s racing licence in line with standard regulations, is now null and void for the next twelve months.
Speaking about this topic, TAS Racing Team Principal Philip Neill stated:
“First and fore-most our concerns are with Ian and we look forward to supporting him on his road to making a full recovery.
Clearly, we are disappointed to miss our first IOM TT in 23 years – aside from the Covid years of course.
Everything was in place for this year’s event together with Milwaukee and our other valued partners. We now look forward to finalising our plans for the NW200 and another BSB season.”
Although out of the saddle for 2023, five times in a week TT winner Hutchinson will be in attendance at the new-look ten race schedule TT and FonaCAB/Nicholl Oils North West 200, representing his international road race suitors, sponsors.
