Paddock favourite Rodger Wibberley has recently confirmed that he will return to Manx shores in August, sampling the 2019 Manx Grand Prix, which will mark his 13th Manx GP campaign.
A Mountain Course debutant in 2002, the popular Yorkshireman has since recorded no less than seven top 20 finishes, including series of 12th place finishes from last years Lightweight class encounters.
Set to pilot in August the same machine that he took to a brace of 12th place finishes, the Team York Suzuki Super Twin, his machinery stable for his latest Manx GP tenure also includes his own teams YZF R6 Yamaha, which he plans to pilot in the four lap Junior, blue riband Senior races.

The absolute epitome of a Mountain Course stalwart, the affable Wibberley alongside competing has also in the past decade helped many of today’s leading next generation International Road Racers, with tips, knowledge a plenty about competition on the world famous Manx roads.
Back instructing in March for the first of the Mike Hailwood Foundation Newcomer weekends, he’s one of Pure Road Racing’s good guys who has and continues to be a great ambassador for Pure Road Racing.
