By Announced last evening, the reincarnated Enniskillen Road Races is set to run from the 29th to the 30th of June and will incorporate an 11 race schedule which includes the showpiece event of the meeting, the Richard Britton Memorial race.
Alongside the featured race named in honour of one of Irish road racing’s most successful and popular riders of the modern era, the race day schedule also includes two Supersport encounters plus in total competition across 12 different classes.
Notable sponsors on board for the first Enniskillen roads meet since 1952 include Joeys Bar MCC, title sponsors of the Moto 3 race, Euro Auctions and Motul.
Entries wise, expect rising stars, next gen racers, seasoned roads campaigners and multi Irish roads champions to be Enniskillen bound in June as they venture to an event all as newcomers, which has the potential in my opinion to become one of the leading Irish national road races.

The new Enniskillen roads course which is three miles long, described by event organisers as having a little bit of everything from the outside looking in, will be a course that rewards a smooth riding style and a calm, calculated approach.
All that’s left to state in this article is to congratulate the event organisers, Enniskillen and District Motorcycle Club (Road Racing) Ltd, on bringing road racing back to County Fermanagh and wish them foreseeable success for the future with the UK’s newest closed roads meeting.
