In the latest significant boost for the 2024 Manx Grand Prix, a World Supersport vibe is ensured thanks to Motozoo Me Air Racing.
The team that are running MV Agusta’s, Federico Caricasulo, Luke Power in this year’s World Supersport Championship, have signed MGP podium finisher, European Hill Climb Champion, the highly rated Maurizio Bottalico for their first taste of roads scene competition.
Bottalico, the leading 1000cc exponent, third overall in last year’s Cain Road Race, will be Kawasaki mounted for the Senior race.
European Hill Climb outings at Landshaag, Julbach and Spoleto have also been pencilled in astride team green tackle.
Who would have thought fifteen, ten years ago, World Supersport participants taking in the Manx GP.
This shows the lure, importance of an event, which year in year out produces the TT stars of tomorrow.
