World Sidecars Le Mans – Roads Competitor Watch

Concurrently run alongside the EWC (Endurance World Championship) season opener (24 Heures Motos), World Sidecar Championship competition for 2025 is officially underway.

Swiftest in qualifying, current World Champions, top five, top three TT finishing Harry Payne/Kevin Rousseau would go onto emerge victorious from the opening eleven lap Circuit Bugatti race, heading home Markus Schlosser/Luca Schmidt, with 1.513 seconds separating the Steinhausen Racing, Team Schlosser crews.

Beverley speed forces, the Christie siblings Sam & Tom, claimed fourth, edging out 2022, 2023 World Champions, Todd Ellis/Emmanuelle Clement.

Ellis/Clement, the leading three wheeling newcomers of TT 2024, hold the six-plate for May/June’s circulations around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.

Eight times World Champion, Carl Cox Motorsport sponsored Tim Reeves, who won’t be tackling this year’s TT Races, finished fifth, following his latest race outing with long time co crew member, Mark Wilkes.

Circuit de Chimay Sidecar lap-record carriers, the son/father pairing, Ted Peugeot/Vincent Peugeot claimed the final leader-board, first six finishers position.

The second World Sidecars contest at Le Mans, is scheduled to get underway on Saturday morning from 11:50 AM (local time).
