By The mini-twins race at the Walderstown road races was won by circuit newcomer Jamie Hamilton on the KMR Kawasaki er-6 by 1.67 seconds from Michael Sweeney also on a similar Kawasaki. 3rd place went to Davy Morgan on the CMS racing Kawasaki er6 with 4th place going to John Burrows on the KBM racing Kawasaki er6.
