William Dunlop and Bruce Anstey shared the wins in the ultra competitive supersport class today at the Ulster Grand Prix. In the first race William Dunlop edged out Bruce Anstey with Lee Johnston claiming a surprise third place finish on the Millsport racing Honda CBR 600 race bike. The second supersport race followed a similar pattern to the first one with W.Dunlop and Anstey battling it out at the front but in the end Bruce Anstey claimed one of his best wins around the Dundrod based circuit beating William Dunlop by 0.194 of a second into second place with Conor Cummins taking third place but over 10 seconds back of the leading duo.
Michael Dunlop claimed a sixth place finish in the opening supersport race and in the second finished in fifth to add to his superstock race win and his superbike race 2 win. Dan Cooper claimed his best finish so far on his debut around the Ulster Grand Prix circuit finishing in 8th place in the opening supersport race on the Centurion racing Triumph 675 Daytona supersport bike.
