Ty Jones had a great Southern 100 to underline that he is a up and coming star on road racing circuits. Ty competing on a GSX-R 1000 Suzuki superstock bike recorded a top 10 finish in this years Southern solo championship race whilst also finishing in the top 10 in the 1000 senior race.
Looking to the future Ty is aiming to make his Isle of Man TT debut in 2014, Ty’s dad Jeff competed in many TT races including achieving a top 10 finish in the 1980 Isle of Man TT. For Ty its being a lifetime ambition to compete at the Isle of Man TT, his all time racing hero is the legend that is Joey Dunlop.
