Junior Manx Grand Prix winner Francesco Curinga, is the latest overseas star to announce his intention to tackle the 2023 TT Races.
Since first joining the Manx GP rider ranks in 2017, Curinga has since established himself as one of Italy’s leading Mountain Course pilots.
Last August, he clinched the holy grail of his road racing career to date, by winning a gripping Junior MGP race, aided by a new record Twins class lap speed of 116.475 mph.
Boasting pace that would have put him 11th in the Bennetts Lightweight TT from 2018, he sticks with S1-R Paton machinery courtesy of Team ILR with Mark Coverdale, for this summers’ TT action.
The ever-smiling Italian, multi times a European hill climb Champion has also revealed that he will be participating at Northern Ireland’s biggest sport event, the North West 200.
As at TT 2023, he is set to be Paton powered, racing under the Team ILR (Ian Lougher Racing) banner.
