Gilbert Good To Go With Gorilla Racing

Horsham’s Don Gilbert is good to go on the roads in 2023, racing for Isle of Man bike storage supported Gorilla Racing.

Entry success permitting, a TT Races debut is a possibility for Gilbert, who last year took a podium finish at the Southern 100, lapped the fabled, mythical Mountain Course at close to the 113 mph lap mark.

He is already 100th Anniversary Manx GP bound, due to race a SRAD Suzuki 750 machine in the Classic Superbike field.

There is also the possibility of joining the Senior class entry, depending upon aforementioned success with his TT entry.

A first time North West 200 tilt also looms alongside action at all four Oliver’s Mount events, the Bob Smith Spring Cup, Cock O’The North, Barry Sheene Classic and Scarborough Gold Cup.

Candidly speaking about the 2023 season, Gilbert stated:

“Its’ been a long winter so far and I am very much looking forward to getting the season started.

Its going to be a big year, I will be riding the IOM bike storage ZX6R (Kawasaki) and GSX-R (Suzuki) this season and my good friend Olive Macrae is joining the Gorilla Racing squad on a ZX6 (Kawasaki) and will be racing the Oliver’s Mount rounds and the Southern 100.

I like the sound of the 4 round championship at Oliver’s Mount, so I will be contesting in that for sure!”
