RST’s TT Races involvement will increase ten-fold this year, after forming a new race team (Team RST), headlined by Yorkshire Mountain Course great Ian Hutchinson.
Sixteen times a race winner, one of only seven riders to achieve the 133-mph lap mark feat, Hutchinson for SBK, Senior, Superstock contests, as in 2025 with MLav Racing, is BMW propelled.
Stating his thoughts on the latest 2026 international road racing development, the ‘Bingley Bullet’ (BE/RK Racing Ducati – Supersport races mount) whose 2026 TT fortunes will-be-captured via a docuseries, screened on TT+, said:
“It’s been 21 years since I last ran my own team and now feels like the right time to do it again. It’s slightly daunting, but this project is very personal to me.
After everything I’ve experienced at the TT I still have that drive to prove we can compete at the very front.
Everyone involved has come on this journey with me, and I want it to work for all of us. To be building this team together with these amazing partners who’ve supported me for so long means a lot.
We’re aiming for that one spot — and I want everyone to get something out of this.”
