By 2018 Junior Manx Grand Prix winner James Chawke will lead RL Racing’s 2026 Briggs Equipment Northwest 200, TT Races projects, piloting RS660 Aprilia tackle in the Super Twins/Sportbike class.
Seventh, tenth in Cookstown 100, Armoy feature races of 2025, Rathkeale’s Chawke accomplished TT racing resume boasts:
Four top twenty finishes, a best TT finish of eleventh (2019 Lightweight race – besting ten times TT winner Ian Lougher), twenty-three finishes from twenty-six race starts, a current personal best lap speed of 125.039 mph, making him presently the ninth fastest Republic of Ireland TT competitor in history.
Last year’s TT yielded twenty fourth, seventeenth place Super Twin race finishes for Richard Latimer’s squad with popular Welsh rider Paul ‘Potchy’ Williams at the controls.
Confident that nine times top twenty-five TT finisher Chawke, will produce the goods throughout 2026, the teams’ season itinerary alongside roads scene majors includes the-majority of Irish national road races, specified Mondello Park outings.
