2024 IRRC Superbike Champion David Datzer will return to the TT Races, make his Cookstown 100 debut, piloting Roadhouse Macau 765 Daytona Triumph (PHR Performance/Global Robots supported), M1000RR BMW apparatus.
Germany’s fastest Mountain Course challenger was originally last year, due to race in Roadhouse Macau colours before a near career ending incident at Stare Mesto derailed these plans.
Now given a second chance to compete for Brian McCormack’s team, Datziii is determined to maximise the opportunities ahead.
Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix podium finisher on two occasions, the Bavaria rider stands currently 62nd within the all-time quickest TT competitors list ahead of fellow European roads scene giants Erno Kostamo and Lukas Maurer.
A TT newcomer in 2019, he attained his best finishes to date in 2022, capturing two top twenty finishes, P20 Superbike and P19 in the blue-riband Senior race, finishing one of just nineteenth racers to average 120 mph plus over the six-lap race distance.
