With nigh on forty days till TT 2025 blossoms into fruition, the twenty seeded competitors for what are certain to be in June, compelling, thought provoking, intriguing Metzeler, Entire Cover insurance Super Twins races, have been disclosed.
Assigned the prestigious No.1 plate, which he also holds for Monster Energy Supersport encounters, is Paul Jordan (Jackson Racing – Aprilia).
Previously standing on the Twins race rostrum in 2019, the Ulster Grand Prix race winner leading has designs on more stellar results.
Next away on to be confirmed apparatus is France’s first TT podium finisher, 2021 IRRC Supersport Champion Pierre Yves Bian.
Michael Rutter (Bathams AJN Racing – Yamaha), whose TT 2025 exploration focuses solely on Super Twins action, goes at three whilst KTS Racing Powered by Stanley Stewart Racing’s Jamie Coward holds the four-plate.
Five-plate carrier is first Kawasaki mounted rider within the start-list, Dafabet Racing’s Michael Evans, whilst the six-plate occupier is Twins TT lap record holder, TT wins record holder Michael Dunlop.
Once again aboard Paton machinery, the Northern Irishman is keen to continue his Twins class dominance.
Tobermore’s Adam McLean (Flitwick Motorcycles/SMV Yamaha), twice King of The Roads Champion, reigning Senior race winner Davey Todd (Milenco by Padgetts – Paton) attain plates seven and eight.
Wrapping up the first ten starters are two times class top three-finisher Michael Browne, due to race under the KMR Kawasaki banner and ‘136 Mph’ man Peter Hickman (Swan Racing by PHR Performance – Yamaha).
Respective eleven, twelve, thirteen plate occupiers are Scott Racing’s Joe Yeardsley, Bishop Castle’s Barry Furber with the DC Motorcycles Newtown Yamaha and Dominic Herbertson with the Melbray Racing Paton.
VAS Engine Racing’s Stefano Bonetti, SMT Racing’s Rob Hodson, both Paton powered, add further potential podium finishing depth to the Twins field.
Rounding out the seeded riders behind Bonetti, Hodson are overseas Mountain Course heroes AJ Venter (TH Racing – Kawasaki), Team ILR / Frog Vehicle Developments team-mates Victor Lopez (No.17), Maurizio Bottalico (No.19) and fellow countrymen Andrea Majola (No.18 – VAS Engine Racing – Paton), Delmo Racing/Top Surface/TRT sponsored Francesco Curinga (No.20).
Outside of the seeded exponents, added noteworthy, confirmed start-numbers include Michal ‘Indi’ Dokoupil (22), David Datzer (25), Paul Cassidy (31), Rhys Hardisty (40), Julien Cregniot (41) and Veronika Hankocyova (56).
