Close to two weeks following WTF Racing’s 2025 TT Races withdrawal, throwing his Mountain Course racing plans into a state of flux, 2013 Lightweight TT winner James Hillier has gained a Supersport ride, reuniting with Pete Extance’s, Kawasaki Insurance supported Bournemouth Kawasaki outfit.
Fourteen times a TT rostrum finisher, all of Hillier’s podiums have been with the former British Superbike Champions, whom he solely rode for an entire decade of TT racing (2010-2019).
Last year, ‘Dynamite’ was back in the Bournemouth Kawasaki fold, riding Ninja ZX-6R (636) tackle.
Set to pilot this May/June the same machine he took to fourth, sixth place attainments, his middleweight category suitors are firmly of the belief that he can add to his already impressive podium finishes tally.
“This year we really believe we can go a few steps higher and reach that podium of which we have before in Supersport on many occasions.
We must thank our loyal sponsors and of course all you guys who are our amazing customers and friends. We will keep you all posted before, during and after the TT.”
