We’ve spotlighted the latest, regards fastest TT racers per nation, present 100 quickest TT racers, now it’s time for an update, detailing the rapidest TT/Mountain Course newcomers of all time.
Twenty-two racers have now on at least one occasion, during their maiden TT racing quests, topped the 122-mph lap mark.
The latest to grab this feat are New Zealand Superbike Champion, Milenco by Padgetts Mitch Rees (126.44), the new fifth quickest ever TT debutant and Barry Burrell (123.605).
Glenn Irwin (129.85 – 2022), lap-record holder Peter Hickman (129.104 – 2014), RST x D3O Superbike race winner Davey Todd (128.379 – 2018), Josh Brookes (127.726 – 2013), remain the four fastest TT newcomers of all time.
Completing the current ten speediest TT first timers, are Ryan Cringle (126.096 – 2023) 2009 Senior race winner, Steve Plater (125.808 – 2007), the much-missed Simon Andrews (125.174 – 2011).
Keith Amor (124.856 – 2007) and 2017 Privateers Champion, Horst Saiger (123.846 – 2013).
