TT 2025: Inconsistent Weather Curtails Thursday Evening Qualifying

Low clouds, strands of rain, in general inconsistent weather means no qualifying tonight for TT 2025 competitors.

The decision to cancel Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Super Twins/Sidecar Q2 was revealed close to 4:10 PM.

Attentions now turn towards Friday afternoon’s qualifying session, scheduled to burst into fruition at 1:00 PM.

It’s also still to be confirmed (update below) but seems a distinct possibility, that one of the available road contingency road-closure orders will be implemented, enabling a-two-pronged qualifying attack tomorrow.

The current TT 2025 competition schedule for Friday (30th of May), is as follows:

12:30 PM – All roads around Mountain Course close
1:00 PM – Superbike/Superstock Q2
2:05 PM – Sidecars Q2
2:55 PM – Supersport/Super Twins Q2
4:30 PM – Roads to re-open

6:00 PM – Roads re-close around Mountain Course
6:30 PM – Superbike/Superstock Q3
7:20 PM – Supersport/Super Twins Q3
8:10 PM – Sidecars Q3
9:30 PM – Roads re-open around Mountain Course
