By Another day at TT 2024, another victory for the rain, weather! Let’s be honest judging by this morning, early afternoon’s weather at the Grandstand, it’s no big surprise.
A statement issued via the TT’s official X page, details, why neither scheduled Supersport, Superstock races will take place.
“Due to the current weather conditions and the forecast for the remainder of the day, the Clerk of the Course has confirmed no racing will take place today.
There is currently heavy rain to the north and west of the Island, with more rain forecast into the evening and low cloud and mist developing on the Mountain. Conditions are not expected to improve until at least 20:00.
An update regarding Saturday’s schedule will be issued at 15:30.”
