Nathan Harrison stated post yesterday’s four-lap Milwaukee Senior TT, that he was over the moon with a gritty run to a new personal best TT finish of seventh.
Putting to aside the disappointments of non-finishes in the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Superstock races, the 2019 Junior & Senior Manx Grand Prix winner was in a jubilant mood last evening, when speaking about his above showcased Senior race result.
“I am over the moon to get a seventh in my second-ever Senior TT. It’s been such a long journey to get to this point and this is only the beginning.
I’ve got my best-ever finish, I’ve lapped faster than ever (129.156 mph), and I couldn’t be happier.
Thank you to the team, to my sponsors and to my family. Twelve weeks ago, I was on my way back from Spain after a little tip-off and here I am not far off a top-six finish in the Senior TT. I’ll keep on working, keep getting faster and faster and building for the future.”
New 36th fastest rider in TT Races history Harrison, next roads outing looks set to be early next month at Billown for the ‘Friendly Races’, the Southern 100.
