By Incredible, remarkable, spellbinding are ways to describe the lap speeds posted by competitors throughout the record-breaking TT 2023 festival.
The outright lap record now stands at 136.358 mph (16 minutes 36.115 seconds), thanks to Peter Hickman’s heroics on route to Superstock race 2 victory.
Top challengers during the fortnight’s competition, Michael Dunlop (135.259), DAO Racing’s Dean Harrison (134.735), were the only remaining competitors to top the 133, 134 mph lap marks.
In total fifteen racers set 130 plus lap speeds including new 130 mph club members Dominic Herbertson (130.274), Shaun Anderson (130.357), Craig Neve (130.863), Rob Hodson (130.327).
