TT 2023: Superbike/Superstock/Senior Start Numbers Facts Mix

Full wrap up of many an interesting fact, that illustrates the sheer-depth, quality and world class feel about the first twenty starters for the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Superstock and Milwaukee Senior TT races.

All 20 of the seeded competitors have posted previous 126 mph + lap speeds whilst 13 of them have cracked the magical 130 mph lap-mark.

In terms of ‘132 Mph Club’ members, it’s the magnificent seven, featuring Peter Hickman, Dean Harrison, Michael Dunlop, Conor Cummins, John McGuinness MBE, James Hillier and National Superstock 1000 Champion Davey Todd.

Five manufacturers are represented within the first 20 starters, with Honda in particular enjoying stellar representation, with 11 of the seeded runners Honda mounted.

Additional noteworthy stats about this year’s seeded rider brigade include no less than 12 TT podium finishers, who have accumulated together 82 TT victories.

As in 2022, five nations in total have representation, they are Australia, England, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland.

There are two new seeded competitors, they are BE/RK Racing’s Michael Browne and 2019 Senior Manx GP winner, factory Honda rider Nathan Harrison.

Racers to carry different plate numbers for the first time in terms of 1000cc TT competition include Jamie Coward (4), Dominic Herbertson (13) and Gary Johnson (17).
