Full round up of many an interesting fact that illustrates the sheer depth, quality and world class feel about the first twenty starters for the RST Superbike and Milwaukee Senior TT races.
All twenty of the seeded riders have lapped in excess of the 127-mph lap mark, whilst 13 of them have cracked the magical 130 mph mark.
Six manufacturers are represented within the first 20 starters, with BMW in particular enjoying strong representation, with 11 of the seeded runners piloting BMW Motorrad machinery.
Additional noteworthy stats about this year’s seeded rider brigade include no less than 12 TT podium finishers, who have accumulated together 76 TT victories.
Five nations in total have representation, they are England, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Australia and
the Republic of Ireland.
There are two new seeded competitors, they are FHO Racing, Roadhouse Macau supported Brian McCormack and Ducati TriOptions Cup front runner Craig Neve.
Racers to carry different plate numbers for the first time in terms of 1000cc TT competition include Davey Todd (8th), Conor Cummins (11), Jamie Coward (12) and Sam West (15).
