Triumph in recent years have being consistently improving at the Isle of Man TT in the supersport races. 2010 saw TT newcomer David Jones competing for Clwyd Heating ltd racing on a 675 Daytona Triumph, David went onto record consistent results and was the leading Triumph rider of TT 2010.
At TT 2011 Ian Mackman rode for Clwyd Heating ltd racing on the same 675 Daytona Triumph, Ian produced a superb ride in opening supersport race finishing in a personal best 9th place. T3 racing Triumph went into TT 2013 as arguably the leading Triumph team running rising star David Johnson.
Davo as he is known to many went onto produce two good, solid rides finishing 13th in both supersport races. Dan Cooper also Triumph mounted at TT 2013 finished 10th in the opening supersport race for Centurion racing, so fine performances from both David and Dan on 675 Daytona Triumphs proving Triumph where getting back in the mix at the Isle of Man TT.
At the Manx Grand Prix as well Triumph have being rapidly improving. In 2012 John Simpson on his debut won the senior Manx Grand Prix competing on a 675 Daytona Triumph for Splitlath Redmond motorsport. John was also victorious in 2012 on the Triumph during the feature race at Abedare park road races.
2013 at the Manx saw newcomer Tom Weeden Triumph mounted competing for Trickbits FBM performance. Tom went onto record a top 20 finish in newcomers A race. But the highlight of the season for Tom was second place finish in second Darran Lindsay trophy race at the Scarborough gold cup.
For this years Isle of Man TT T3 racing Triumph are back running once again David Johnson whilst 2012 British supersport champions Smiths Triumph are strongly linked to making their TT debut this year running supersport TT race 2 winner back in 2011 Gary Johnson and 1998 junior TT winner Michael Rutter.
