11 years since the release of TT3D: Closer to the Edge, a new documentary covering the TT Races is due to premiere soon.
On the 23rd November, Tourist Trophy directed by Bafta award winning Adam Kaleta, will officially launch.
Similar in essence to Closer to the Edge, this latest moving picture about the world’s most famous road race, goes into fine details about the desire, commitment, attributes needed to compete, be competitive, achieve landmark moments on the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.
Racers set to feature prominently in Tourist Trophy, which will be exclusive to the TT Races digital channel TT+, include:
New fastest TT newcomer in history, BSB showdown contender Glenn Irwin, Honda Racing team-mate, 23 times TT winner John McGuinness MBE.
Nine times TT winner Peter Hickman, Sidecar King Pins Ben Birchall/Tom Birchall and versatile racing all-rounder, solo/Sidecar races participant Michael Russell.
Given how acclaimed, well thought of documentaries such as Closer to the Edge, TT A film Documentary have been, Tourist Trophy has a lot to live up to.
I’m intrigued about how the finished product will look, that’s my evening entertainment sorted on the 23rd November!
