By Many a top TT rider impressed at this years opening round of the British superbike championship. This included Isle of Man TT legend John Mcguinness taking a fantastic 3rd place finish in the national superstock championship race. John competing for the Padgetts racing team rode superbly throughout. TT newcomer in 2012 Karl Harris finished in a solid 7th place competing on the PR racing Kawasaki superbike in the second round of the British superbike championship.
Jimmy Storrar, Jonathan Howarth and Hudson Kennaugh all recorded points finishes in the national superstock championship whilst in general many a road racer performed superbly at Brands Hatch during the first round of this years British superbike championship.
