Barry Sheene road race festival would see series of high quality performances which included top five finishes in both supersport races on G+O racing backed ZX6 Kawasaki. The cock of the north road races saw Mick’s excellent year of racing around the mount continue with more consistent results which would include 6th place finish in second superbike race.

The prestigious Scarborough gold cup was next on the horizon and Mick proved once again why he is considered an Oliver’s Mount specialist as he acquired multiple top results. Sixth place finish in Steve Henshaw international gold cup rounded off his years racing around the iconic road race circuit in style.

Plus at Cadwell Park at the weekend Mick clinched Auto 66 road & track senior championship for 2014 proving just how good an all round racer he is. There’s no doubt that many more standout results will be on the cards next year for Mick around Oliver’s Mount where he has impressed many over the years and in particular in 2014 with top rides at all Oliver’s Mount meets.
