By The highly rated, widely tipped future multiple times International road race winner Davey Todd, is confident of enjoying a strong North West 200 tenure in May, as he aims to further establish himself amongst the highest echelon of International road racing.
Lead event newcomer last year, Brotton’s Todd has impressed and some since making his roads debut in the summer of 2017 at Skerries.
Consistently in contention last season for podiums, race wins at all national meetings, the premier International events saw him also excel, including starring at TT 2018, becoming the second fastest newcomer in TT history, alongside securing the prestigious Privateers Championship title.

Ultra looking forward to the challenges ahead with Rico Penzkofer’s Penz 13 squad, the leading next generation roads exponent who’s 2019 roads plans include sampling all IRRC affiliated events, stated recently about competition at this years North West 200:
“I am very excited to return to the North West after being the fastest newcomer last year. I aim to continue closing the gap to the regular front-runners.”
Adding his confidence in the potential of his S1000RR BMW steeds for this May’s International roads extravaganza, he stated:
“The BMW power might provide the little edge required on those long straights. I cannot wait to get back out there.”
