Dashing to Frohburg Supersport Race One honours, Petr Najman (Festa Tools by Najmanmotorsport – Triumph) ensured the race to become 2026 IRRC Supersport Champion, goes right to the wire.
Second, 10.121 adrift of Najman, Marek Cerveny (WRP Wepol Racing – Triumph) Championship lead going into this afternoon’s middleweight category contest, stands at twelve points.
Rounding out the SSP R1 podium alongside the IRRC title fighters was lap one pace setter, Freddie Heinrich (Kawasaki Weber).
P4, P5 finishers Rico Vetter (Vetter Racing Performance by SIEVI – Kawasaki), a charging Wesley Ankersmid both almost reeled in Heinrich as race action wrapped up.
‘AKA Driver,’ twice TT winner Gary Johnson (Team Schleizer Dreieck – Suzuki) was not far behind either, only 0.033 in arrears to top Performance Racing Achterhoek team member Ankersmid.
Capping off the first ten finishers were TME Racing’s Matej Vit, top fifteen finisher in last month’s Senior Manx Grand Prix Wally Jacobs, Sebastian Frotscher and Never Be Clever Racing’s Kevin De Haan.
