The latest confirmed solo Mountain Course newcomer for TT 2023 joining Optimark Road Racing’s Matthieu Lagrive, Macau GP winner Erno Kostamo, Keelim Ryan and Marcus Simpson is Glen Maye, Isle of Man resident Jorge Halliday.
Son of ex Sidecar TT racer Mark Halliday, the 20 year old shone and some in last season’s Thundersport GB series, dominating the Pre-National 600 Sport class.
Going onto claim Championship honours, he took no less than 12 victories, 27 podium finishes in total last year.
His up coming TT debut sees him YZF R6 Yamaha mounted, racing under the Stanford Halliday Racing banner in the Monster Energy Supersport races.
Determined to enjoy a long, successful TT rider stint, he also harbours ambition of tackling this year the
North West 200.
No Limits Racing stints are also planned whilst pre-season testing in Spain additionally looms for the racer, who’s customary race number is 44, same as none other than seven times World Champion, the most successful driver in Formula One history Lewis Hamilton.
