The real road racing scene’s presence across the recent, season opening French Superbike Championship round at Le Mans, was steadfastly led by a trio of popular three-wheeling Mountain Course pilots.
A top five finisher at last year’s TT Races, next generation driver Harry Payne joined by Kevin Rousseau, made an excellent start to his 2023 race season, capturing back-to-back race victories.
Runner-up within the Sidecars opener, finishing nigh-on 27 seconds in arrears to France’s quickest TT driver Paul Leglise/Yann Druel, today’s races saw Payne/Rousseau take full command, enjoying respective race winning margins of 16.542, 27.67 seconds.
Top pursuers to Payne/Rousseau in this morning’s three-wheel racing stint, were twice TT winner John Holden & Maxime Vasseur.
Set to join forces for TT 2023, the Anglo/French duo already look a dependable, determined team, as showcased via competent outings around Circuit Bugatti (Le Mans).
