Clashing with IRRC/ESR Hengelo, Stare Mesto Races action, the first of two hill-climb meets sponsored by The Biker Lawyers, took place across recent days at England’s roads scene nirvana, Oliver’s Mount Scarborough.
Twisty, traditional shorter in distance hill-climbing stints initiated with ten alternative categories of machinery gracing North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT.’
Nine times Manx Grand Prix, twice TT Races winner Bill Swallow participated as did 2020 Scarborough Gold Cup entrant Nick Colley, road racing author, enthusiast Joel Campbell.


Speediest outright on Saturday was time trials specialist Robin McNeil (ZX10R Kawasaki – 42.79 seconds – 56.19 mph).
Respective Supermoto, Sidecars/Trikes, Solos 501-750cc, Vintage steeds pre-1960, 251-500cc Solos, Scooters, 250cc Solos, Morgan 3-Wheelers division times sheet leaders, were:
Clint Davis, Joseph Bedford/Aaron Hall, Robert Furrmage, Dave McCoy, James Dewart, Eric Cope, Leon Stephenson, Jackie Scruton/John Scruton.
The next event at Oliver’s Mount is the two-day Barry Sheene Festival (20th-21st June), set to mark Barry Sheene’s first World Championship success in 1976.
