TH Racing will retain their association with Jay Bellers Smith next year, following successful post 2024 season discussions.
Second, third from this year’s Aberdare Park Welsh Open races, Welsh roads speedster Bellers Smith is delighted to be competing for Trevor Harbinson’s TT, Northwest 200 top 10 finishing outfit.
“Going into 2025 with TH Racing and Hywel Griffiths after a pretty-successful 2024 season, I could not be happier and feeling confident with the packages they put under me every weekend.
The 2024 TH Racing Honda CBR600RR is a bike I’ve been wanting to race ever since I set eyes on it and the KMR/Hywel Griffiths ER650 Kawasaki is possibly the best bike I’ve ever had the privilege of throwing a leg over.”
Joint Aberdare Park videocast host Bellers Smith whose new deal, is anticipated to see him sample next year, the Spring Cup, Cock O’The North, Gold Cup at Oliver’s Mount plus the Armoy ‘Race of Legends’ and the returning Tandragee 100, added:
“Knowing that we have a deal in place for next year at this early stage makes it all a lot easier for me and I am truly grateful for another opportunity to ride into 2025 with TH Racing.”
TH Racing Team Manager, Willis Marshall stated:
“After many hours’ day and night, we finally got a package together that suits both Jay and our-selves. We welcome Jay back into the fold for 2025.
We have seen, how he steadily progressed as the 2024 season went on and it was only correct to continue this progression with Jay into 2025.
It’s off to the NEC Motorcycle show next weekend for us and going there with a team together and ready to race will hopefully attract some additional attention.”
