An extremely accomplished exponent of Lightweight 400 machinery, his answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“Armoy. It’s them mad jumps around it and also keeping it pinned for the last corner, is just mega fun.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“My own ZXR 400 Kawasaki.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“The buzz, you get nothing like it. The banter in the paddock is great especially at the wee national races.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“Ulster GP, is on the list to compete at, not this year though.”
Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“Respect every one who races. But have a soft spot for my buddy Paul Gartland who is hiding the grey hairs well, he’s been doing it that long.
But always takes me for laps with his great saying “Ted do as I say and don’t do what I do” while he points to a hole he made in a hedge somewhere. Quiet a few made in Scarborough!”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“Winning the Junior B race at this years Cookstown 100.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“County Donegal”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“John McGuinness, there’s a few TT wins still left in him.”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“Would love a run on a proper Superbike, don’t know how the lads do it on the narrow back roads.”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Fastest lap! Always go home happy from a track if I am beating my personal best lap times.”
